Yes, with the impending end of the rainy season just 4 days away now, Californians must gear themselves up for the same old weather for months and months in a row. It's the usual dry, warm, sunny weather in which we are all familiar with that encompasses California summers. In the next 16 days the GFS shows temps no higher than about 90-93F for NorCal inland areas and 95-100F for SoCal Inland areas with 100-110F for desert areas. Not really toasty for this time of the year, just slightly above the normal of mid 80's for mid-May for NorCal inland areas and upper 80's for SoCal inland areas. This pattern should produce a solid sea breeze in the evenings to bring the comfortable nights that we are used to here in Cali with coastal areas getting the usual night and morning marine layer intrusions. All in all a beautiful weather pattern that we can all enjoy before any serious heat comes to sear California into summer. I'll have a recap of the rainy season totals this upcoming weekend with a final update to the summer forecast by next week.
