Major storm to impact San Francisco area and the rest of Northern California

Major storm ahead to impact NorCal and the SF Bay Area, it's going to be a wild ride this weekend. With winds gusting to tropical storm force and rainfall in some spots nearing 5-6" in the hills and 3" in the urban areas we could be looking at a soggy mess that may cause power outages and toppled trees given that the trees still have their leaves. Given all of this, I'd say a category 3 storm or even category 4 is what we are looking at here. A category 3 winter storm for California standards is a single storm rainfall total of 1-1.99" and a category 4 would be 2-2.99" of rainfall. This gives you an idea of the strength of this storm. I'll have several updates later this weekend and during the storm. Stay safe everyone.
