With a hot weather pattern over NorCal and temps continuing on average at or above normal for this time of the year one only wonders what is going on in SoCal? Well, a cooler than normal weather pattern is occurring in the southland with temps not even cracking 80F in most inland areas of SoCal for the past 4-5 days amazingly. With a strong onshore flow and the marine layer in excess of 2000ft, it's no wonder temps aren't climbing high despite the 850MB temps in the low 20's Celsius. As to the forecast for both areas, the cool weather pattern will let up a little bit across SoCal and temps will heat up even more in NorCal with highs in the 105-110F range in some spots of the Central Valley with Sacramento seeing highs in the 100-105F range. SoCal highs will remain at there hottest in the 90's for the inland areas outside of the deserts( the deserts will be in the 110-120F range). Coastal spots will be in the low and mid 70's. So our tale is to be continued at this point until the pattern changes.....
